Pretty Inspirational is doing their very first ever Givaway! Here is what you need to do:
1. Click on “My Book Stack” on the left side of my blog web page (Pretty Inspirational). Looks like this:
2. Select a book you are interested in reading, such as one of these…
3. Go back to my blog page…Pretty Inspirational and enter a comment that includes your name, the title of the book you want, a quick note about your favorite thing about Pretty Inspirational plus a topic you would like to see me write about in a future blog post. A comment must be entered by December 11, 2011.
4. I will be using the highly scientific method of letting my daughter pick a “commenter” out of a hat to determine the winner. I may pick more then one winner…depends on how many comments I get!!!
5. The winner(s) will be announced by mid-December so stay tuned. The book(s) will be shipped to the winner(s) soon after.

I have always wanted this book, and found myself buying it for a friend that is getting ready to build a beautiful home with her husband and two boys. I hope it brings her inspiration as it did for me when I browsed through it.
I think Pretty Inspirational blog has done a wonderful job posting on fun inspirational subjects. I particularly love seein the before and after projects that you have finished. Love the sharing of holiday decorating tips that I might have missed myself in a magazine. Keep them coming!

What I love most about your blog is that it is very substantive – you write about this subject from a very intellectual perspective, which I appreciate.
I'd love to read a blog about texture – what is warm, why some textures are cold, and how they make visitors/guests/homeowners feel.

I have really enjoyed reading your blog! I especially love the wishbone chair photos. I guess partially because I know that you have spent some "intensive" time researching JUST how they are MADE! But I like the Danish design style that is captured in those photos around the chair, classic- but clean and modern too, with some rough touches. That kind of design speaks to me and is inspiring. I also am impressed by the "before" & "after" photos from your client's homes.
I would love to have a good book on Danish or Scandinavian design, but am interested in The Home Within Us from your book stack. I also think the that the Wishbone chairs designed for the breast cancer research cause are fabulous, LOVE the pink paint treatment and the different cushion styles!

February 29, 2012 9:05 amI have read a couple of books on house design and interior, and came to the conclusion that it's a very time consuming work that requires effort and hours of hard work. But i love watch people create such amazing interior schemes.
