I can’t believe it’s been over a month since my last blog post. For the last couple of weeks, readers have been sending me ideas hoping it would kick start me to write a post, which is so sweet. My blog has been a lot of fun and never felt like a job or a chore. I could say, life, such as coaching my daughter’s field hockey team, volunteering in my son’s classroom, or working on large client projects became a priority. But, honestly, if I was feeling super inspired to write a post I would have found the time and it would have happened! I’m guessing every blogger, at some point, goes through this and then all of a sudden…bam, ideas start swirling in your head and you feel like writing again!
Two of my favorite times of the year is the arrival of spring and the arrival of fall. For the past few weeks I’ve been collecting images of pretty fall vignettes for this post. For readers who live on the east coast, after we clean up from Hurricane Sandy, we can think again about adding pretty fall touches to our homes, such as these….
Even with Hurricane Sandy about to hit us at any moment, the UPS man just delivered the perfect gift to help me pass time as we wait out the storm… Darryl Carter’s new book, the collected home! Thank you Josh and Gwen…the timing couldn’t have been better!
Darryl Carter believes “the most outstanding homes tell the story of the people who live there. Rooms embrace your travels, passions, and keepsakes.”
I couldn’t agree more!
Stay safe east coast!
I’ll be in touch soon!
